Prey Find My Phone & Security App Reviews

It doesnt compare to the find my iPhone app. But it sometimes doesnt give me a direct location of where the phone is. For ex, I needed to know where my moms phone was but it was taking a long time to load. Unfortunately, it was useless and didnt get it on time.

I have this App enabled as a backup to Apples Find my iPhone/iPad. It also has been on my laptop for over a year. Youre able to check on your devices registered with Prey on their website and find out the last time each checked in with their servers and where. If your device is lost/stolen you just need to log into their website from any other available device. Choose to put it in lost/stolen mode, where it immediately starts taking pics at specific intervals without a used knowing, while continuing to track its GPS loc. As long as its connected to a WiFi network for mobile devices. Ethernet or WiFi for PCs. You can remotely wipe a device, set off a siren, or post a message on the screen. Helpful it was just lost and an honest person finds it. Mainly the same features as Apples, except for the pics and more detailed data. Finally you can print out the logs with any photos to provide to the police and if you have insurance. Not to mention its free and MANY people have recovered their device and or the police have caught the thief! Plus the CS is quite helpful. Fairly sure you can register up to 4 devices for free.

The app keeps asking me to enable the camera for the app in privacy settings or the Prey app settings. The setting to enable camera is not there. This app doesnt work anymore.
