Prey Find My Phone & Security App Reviews

I tried often, sometimes with, sometimes without success. Thats nothing for regular use, its for playing.

And much better than apples own app! (Capture pictures!)

No use with this app. Cant reset my PW in the app or on the web - plz get this right first - then release it

Needs more features - only slightly better than "find my ipad"

Love the app for on the go. Added Prey to my laptop, then reported my laptop as "missing". As long as my laptop was on and connected to the Internet, I received reports showing its approx location and a picture of the user. The flaws are that on my iPhone I cant scroll down through the reports. When I let go, the report scrolls right back to the top. Also the gps locator isnt quite as accurate as apples Find my iPhone, but very close. (showed my laptop as across the street from my house).

Recieve an error message about notifications not set up. Only asks for a password and no email/accout which does not work

After setting up app on both iPhone and iPad, Im looking at the Preferences screen, with no option to do anything else. Cant see the list of devices in my account, or figure out how to report a device missing. This question is not addressed in the Help provided. Cant get Tech Support unless you pay for an upgrade. Have to log in to GOOGLE to post a question in the App Forum. No thanks!

downloaded and deleted app twice. cant get to options screen, set up or anything. this is by far an app that should never have gone to market. Did anyone test it first? REALLY!

I can get no further than the new user sign up page. Every time I hit submit, the app crashes. Waste of time.

This app doesnt work when you try to sign up and just crashes. Surprised that no one has mentioned this yet. I love Prey, but kinda disappointed by the iPhone app.

When my phone was stolen, this app failed to do any of the things it claims to do. Luckily I had another, more reliable app to help me locate my phone.

I cant see how this app works at all. Im on my phone now, but Prey tells me it was last seen 12 days ago, and it cannot be reached. It wants me to pay upgrade. Pay for what? The off chance that it may become functional? Not happening.

Prey works on every device you have. Gives me a peace of mind.

Also, STOP begging for reviews, its very annoying.

Thankfully I havent had to use it yet, but all my testing worked and itll be handy when I need it! Just stop pestering users for reviews. (-1 star)
